Rev Up Your Engines for the 3^rd Annual CFD Car Show

Calling all L&I friends and family…rev up your engines!  Whether you want to show off your ride or see one, on Saturday, August 7 L&I’s Tumwater parking lot will be full of them.  You’ll see everything from muscle cars to motorcycles—even vintage first responder fire trucks from the Tumwater, Lacey and Olympia Fire Departments!  It all goes to a good cause.  For the third year, event proceeds support beneficiaries of the Combined Fund Drive (CFD). 

Starting about 9 AM, about 40 classic cars, trucks and motorcycles begin arriving.  The judging for over 20 different categories kicks off at 10 AM. You can even be part of the action by voting on the People’s Choice winner!  Awards will be announced around noon and it all wraps up by 1 PM.  Along with the car show, The Man BBQ and Shave Ice offers great food and there will be face painting for our youngest hot rod fans!    

This year’s L&I CFD Car & Bike Show benefits Mason County Kitten Rescue, Thurston County Food Bank’s Well Fed-Well Read program and Warrior B.E.A.R.S.  Our local charities need us now, more than ever!
